Shooting attack in downtown Jerusalem; at least ten wounded By Baruch Kra, Ha'aretz Correspondent and Ha'aretz Service

A gunman opened fire in a shooting attack in downtown Jerusalem on Tuesday afternoon.

Israel Radio reported that at least ten Israelis were injured in the attack, five of them seriously and the rest with light-to-moderate injuries.

The gunman was killed shortly after opening fire.

The attack took place at the corner of Yaffo and Rav Koch streets. The area has been completely closed off to traffic.

Police and Magen David Adom emergency personnel have arrived on the scene of the attack.
