A young man married a woman who started to mistreat his mother right from the start of their marriage. The man was so much in love with his wife, that he did not utter a single word in defense of his mother. Day after day the wife invented new ways to humiliate and hurt his mother but she never complained to his son and only showed him his love.
One day the wife called her husband and told him: "If you love me, bring me the heart of your mother". The man could not contradict her. On his way back from his mothers home, he cried while he carried his mothers beating and bleeding heart in his hand. At one point he stumbled and fell, dropping his mothers heart on the ground. When he stood up, the mother's heart said:
