well, my story is very similar to yours, though i don't remember much of it. i came to israel on the 30th of december 1990 (so is written in my id). we went by train from lvov to budapest and then by plane to israel. from the airport we went to holon, where we lived for a couple of weeks at the house of some people-- i don't even remember who they were-- my parents knew them. war started two weeks after we arrived and i remember sitting in the "heder atum" with doors scotched (an absolute folly-- as if it would help in case there was a real attack). every day at approximately 19.00 there was an alarm and everyone was running to their houses. it was surreal and i don't remember much of it. i wasn't afraid, it was just bizarre. the most bizarre thing, however, was that there were no casualties from the SCADs. then there was school, life and stuff, which is irrelevant.
