Два новых слова за два дня, оба сленговые:

jailbait - девушка младше 16-ти (или другого соответствующего age of consent), секс с которой по закону считается изнасилованием.
ixnay - "нет", "прочь", "нафиг". Часто с предлогом on. Происхождение: pig-Latin версия слова nix; наверное, единственное слово из pig-Latin, устойчивое вошедшее в общий сленг. (справка: что такое pig Latin).

Of course, the definition of общий сленг is open to argument, but I think 'amscray' (scram, as in 'go away') might qualify as another example of Pig Latin that made it to "the big time." It certainly was prevalent in the 40s and 50s (I heard it a lot in television shows from that era as a kid, e.g., Three Stooges).

P.S. I think Ilya may be thinking of "O'Tay!" which was Buckwheat's mispronunciation of "okay" as one of the "Our Gang" kids in "The Little Rascals" series from the early 50s. I do not believe it is Pig Latin of any sort.

Thanks! I knew about 'amscray', but didn't think it was as widespread, certainly didn't think it was TV show material.
