This is a case of being in the right place at the right time. By a happy accident I had my Mamiya C3 with me - I had been photographing the child of some friends and was making my way home. It was late afternoon and the light wasn't good. With an ISO 125 film in the camera I was working at more or less full aperture, which helped throw the background out of focus. The resulting negative was quite 'thin' and required careful printing. I have used Photoshop 6 to clean up dust and specks, and to blur the background a little bit more.
