Clinton Narrates Wolf-Friendly Peter and the Wolf

В этой новой версии Петя раскаивается в поимке волка и отпускает его на свободу.

"Forgetting his triumph, Peter thought instead of fallen trees, parched meadows, choked streams, and of each and every wolf struggling for survival," Clinton narrates.

"The time has come to leave wolves in peace," he adds.

Очень смешно. Я просто так и слышу преисполненный пафоса голос Клинтона (сразу вспоминается его знаменитое президентское "я чувствую вашу боль", обращённое ко всем американцам).

Кроме того, проект включает в себя дополнительную музыкальную сказку, "Волк и Петя", которая являет собой пересказ "Пети и Волка" с точки зрения Волка.

a totally different mindset - humanity is powerful enough to leave predators alone without noticing any adverse effects.

now, why is it that a point of view of alien civilizaton causes your scorn and laughter?

What is scornful is illegitimate - albeit, legal - piggybacking on the well-known work of art that had a distinctly different goal. Mind you, this is not even a parody - this is rewriting history in Orwellian sense. And the reason this happened is: PC is absolutely impotent when it comes to art. No? Name a single powerful in it's own merit politically correct work of art?

And, while we're at it, how did xenophobia get into the conversation?
