OK, guys, now you scare me.
or has Babelfish become AI-complete in the meantime?

(anyway, there are nice Bialetti macchinetas sold everywhere, including IL.  they are not that expensive, and they sure make good espresso from the right coffee.  the "Brikka" model is very nice, for instance).

Two philosophers are standing on a bridge.

"Oh, how excellent it is to be a fish," one says, "so free of care, swimming along with the flow all day. Happiness!"

"How do you know that?" cries his friend. "You were never a fish!"

"How do you know that?," replies the first. "You were never me!"

This phrasing's better.

I'm a snob and I like my crema.

that's why I've specifically mentioned "Brikka": it does give you crema.

What manner of sorcery is this?

the patented sourcery goes like this:

they've attached a small piece of metal on top of the spout.  the piece of metal has a layer of rubber on the underside, so that it cover the spout nicely.  this way the coffee gets more pressurised before it goes out into the thigy it goes out into, and when it does finally go out, it goes out all at once (not gradually, like in a regular macchineta), and it even has crema on it for a while.

perhaps there are pictures on the intarweb, but I haven't found any.

surprisingly enough, it works as advertised.
